At That Hard Age

 

   My grandpa was a retired soldier. For him, discipline just like a second nature. He missed his parents and brother very much. “At that time, I followed KMT to retreat to Taiwan. I even never said goodbye to them,” my grandpa said.

   Fortunately, he was only 18 years old at that time so he didn’t get married. Although he didn’t have a wife and kids, he still had parents and brothers.

   My families have been to my grandpa’s hometown in China. We called on many relatives whom we didn’t know. When my grandpa heard his parents had passed away, he almost broke down because he didn’t get to see them for the last time. I thought that was a huge blow to my grandpa.

This is a lesson we have learned from the tragedy. We should cherish everything we have and spend as much time as we can with our loved ones because I don’t know when we might leave and lose them.

 

 

To be a super basketball player

       Every time, when I watch basketball games of NBA, I always feel amazing. A good player could affect the result of game. Tony Parker, Steve Nash, and Jason Kid all are great players. I regard them as idol though I have not the wonderful talents. But I still want to be a good player.
       First, I think I have to reinforce my physical strength. Second, Trains is the most important key to improve the skill. So I will effort to practice. Third, I believe I could do this because I trust myself.

I thought I was not a friendly person because I always made someone angry by accident. I recently read a book and the book said” if you play a joke on somebody, he would play another joke on you.” Actually, it is not the first time I heard this. But I did not deeply dig about this question. Some jokes could make our life happier but some jokes would make people unhappy. I admit I like play jokes that I always thought it is not a big deal. Therefore, I often made my friends angry but I did not know. Maybe I must immediately stop to play jokes on them. I felt so sorry for those people. I also did not like that people play jokes on me so I hope I would not make people angry anymore. I hope next time when I speak indecent words; someone could tell me this mistake. I would never do that again.

A person’s life is just like sparklers. You could not miss any moments when you ignited the sparklers. Everybody could decide how wonderful his life is just as people could decide how beautiful the sparklers are. Maybe your sparklers are not the most expensive one but you are the only one who had it.

Lazy boy

In the English class last week, Tom fell asleep again. He always could not stay awake but slept all the time every English class every week. He is always in a holiday mood ahead of time.

                  Tom had a weird dream that he had never dreamed before. He found himself becoming an English teacher. “This class was the last class this week. I hope you would not sleep  or I would flunk you,” he said. However, the students were still sleeping. Tom was very angry. “Wake up, lazy girls and lazy boys. Oh! My God! When I was at your age, I never slept in class,” Tom said. Actually, this dream was opposite to the reality.   “Wake up!” Tom’s teacher said. It turned out that everything was just a dream. “If you want to give a lecture to students, you better work harder and stop sleeping in class,” the teacher said. The whole class was laughing because they all heard Tom murmuring while he was sleeping. Tom stopped sleeping at this moment but laughing never stopped around the class.

A companion in Kevin’s life

          Kevin is an elementary school student, and he is an animal lover. Today is his birthday. His mother wants to give a special gift for him because she knows Kevin likes animal very much. When Kevin opens this special gift, he is so happy. “I have a cute dog. How lucky I am! “Kevin says. ( To be continue. )

        Lily is an elementary school student, who is an animal lover. Cat is one of her favorite animal, so she has a lot of cats. As time goes by, she has more and more cats. However, she can not take care of them.

        Cats always jump on the sofa with dirty bodies and the sofa is spoiled. One day, her mother can not bear this anymore. What is worse, the cats’ footprints are all over the floor. “I decide to send those cats away because they are out of control”, Lily’s mom says. Her mom gives her a week to find a new master for those cats.

        Subsequently, Lily treasures every moment she can play with the cats. Though she has already found the new master for the cats, she is still sad for leaving those cats, because those cats are like her companions in her life.         

My most special friend , Tony .

            The tony is the most special friend in my life . He is an aboriginal but he is not that drak . He looks like a basketball player and he is also strong . In stark contrast , Tony’s work as a hairdresser . One he told me , ” I am not No.1 in everything but I must be No.1 in something . What he said relly impressed me .He always courageously purses his desire and dream . Fortunately , he is hairdresser to-be now but his only 18 years old . He is just ture to himself and follows his talent . So I believe one day , I would find the goal of my life . Then I will do my best to achieve that .
